Following a trial by jury Defendant (Appellant) was convicted of murder, Ind. Code § 35-42-1-1(1) (Burns 1979), and murder while committing robbery (felony murder), IC 35-42-1-1(2) (Burns 1979). The trial court properly merged the murder conviction into the felony murder conviction, and sentenced Defendant to an enhanced term of 50 years imprisonment. This direct appeal raises four (4) issues for our review, which we have renumbered and restated ad follows:
